How does it work?

1. Saving on fuel in your company. In percentage it is 30%

I is formed due to the difference between the "real" indicators of the speedometer of the car and the real total mileage calculated by GPS monitoring system FreeTrack:

  • A permanent control over the real run of vehicle makes the additional fuel costs impossible, as the "cunning" drivers have often a desire to "influence" upon the speedometer indicators;
  • The elimination of discrepancies between the actual and normative technical characteristics of the vehicles: the speedometer set incorrectly or worn out tires, whereby the distance that the car drove according to the indicators of the speedometer may differ from the actual figures recorded by the system FreeTrack.

   Also the fuel sensor RСS is mounted in the vehicle.Basing on GPS tracker and fuel sensor and monitoring system of vehicle FreeTrack provides the information about time, place, amount of refills and fuel discharges, fuel consumption while driving. By controlling the fuel level you can easily know where the drivers buy a "fake" checks or get cash from fuel cards. In other words, the control of fuel consumption is used in cases when it is necessary to know precisely the fuel consumption of the engine and to control the fuel level what used to detect and prevent abuse. These sensors are installed in the fuel tank and in no way are related to the fuel system or affect its work.

   This is achieved through proper and coherent management of the drivers job. GPS vehicle monitoring FreeTrack develops optimal routes and travel tasks, performs routing analysis over a long period of time, compares planned and actual routes, carries out operational management of waybills in real-time. Efficient transport logistics will optimize freight transportation, minimize delays of the delivery of goods to avoid the associated financial losses and loss of customers:

  • A skilled manager, having a complete picture of the movement of vehicles of the fleet, has the ability to send a car which is nearest to the desired location and to monitor the timely completion of the task.
  • The mode "here and now" allows the dispatcher to work in the  FreeTrack system from any remote location where there is internet access, and to continue monitoring of transport.
  • Setting geofence area on an electronic map operator-dispatcher receives a notification about the vehicles crossing their borders, their entry / exit to / for the control zone. The system can be configured to inform the dispatcher automatically about the deviation of the vehicle from the in advance set route. Then the dispatcher gets more time to catty out the tasks related to the logistics of transport.

3.Savings achieved through the proper transportation of products and goods. In it is 15%

Is provided by monitoring the speed of movement, observance of the defined routes and the use of appropriate sensors:

  • the sensors of door opening in cargo compartments of cars are fixing the door opening of containers / cargo compartments of vehicles that prevents unauthorized access;
  • the sensors  of temperature and humidity record the appropriate temperature and humidity (eg., in refrigerators)

4. Savings on mobile communications. In percentage it is 50%

This is achieved through a significant reduction in telephone conversations between the driver and dispatcher, especially in roaming.

5. Furthermore, additional savings achieved due to:

  • increase of productivity of drivers and improvement of the discipline of staff: the development of an effective system of payment and motivation of work of drivers;
  • improvement of efficiency of monitoring of implementation of tasks, routes and schedules to improvement of the efficiency of management and improvement of the quality of accounting as a result of reliable operational information about the whereabouts of vehicles and cargo, mileage, stops, travel time, speed, fuel consumption, implementation of routes, schedules.

Here are some simple examples of evaluation of economic efficiency and payback of the system.

Let's consider the research of the company, which has a fleet of 29 vehicles (17 cars and 12 trucks), with FreeTracksystem mounted on their vehicles. Thanks to the latter, for the first month of operation the company has achieved significant savings in mileage (average about 200 km each unit of transport), so that the drivers work has become much more effective. Calculation of cost savings: Here are some simple examples estimation of economic efficiency and payback systems.

Further, based on the fact that a car consumes on average 10 l/100 km and truck - 30 l/100 km, we get:
40 800х 0,1 = 4080 l, the cost in monetary terms 4080 l х 1 € = 4080 €
28 800  х 0,3 = 15120 л, the cost in monetary terms 8640 l х 1 € = 8640€
Overall, costs are 12 720 €!

As you can see, the cost of installation and maintenance of the system FreeTrack was paid off to the Client during the first year of operation. And each year the customer saves money (minus monthly fee): 12 720 € - 4 648 € = 8 072 €, as the cost of the equipment is not taken into account.

Add the savings of labor costs, which is not always taken into account and is achieved by increasing the efficiency of hours of work of the driver. Overall 365 days in a year we taken255 working days. Based on the value of one hour (wages and other cost components) - about € 1,1, and the number of vehicles (29 units), we get the following result:

255 х 1,1 х 29 = 8 134,5 €!

Truck MAN TGA during the reporting month drove 10 560 km. During the travel the driver has carried out refilling for 39 000 UAH. (3 900 litres for the price of 10 UAH/liter for checks). When leaving the base of the enterprise there were in 120 liters of fuel in the tank , on return there were 60 L. By simple calculations we see that the fuel flow rate is 37.5 l / 100 km. Instead, after reporting on fuel, the system FreeTrack found that this car actually consumed 10 560 km of 305.28 liters of fuel, which is 31.3 l / 100 km.

Comparing the data of both reports, we get the total difference in fuel consumption - 654,72 l at the fuel price 10 UAH/l is 6 547,20 UAH.

Company engaged in the transportation of goods, asked to our company for help iimprove control of fuel consumption and vehicle location.

The truck fleet of the company consists of 30 units, the system of FreeTrack is installed on 18 trucks. On the first month of System operation, the fuel consumption decreased by 15% (or 585 l), according to the head of the responsible department of the company*. The following is a calculation of the cost savings on fuel over the past 10 months the company:
